In the fall of 2011, founder Janie Higgins unexpectedly checked into treatment on a two week medical leaves for a mood disorder during her senior year of high school. From medication adjustment to regained physical strength, she learned that it was the small daily habits and routines that ultimately save your life. After her one year remission in 2012, she founded Push Through a mental health awareness campaign dedicated to keeping individuals in remission for mental health disorders through daily routines, nutrition and fitness.
